The Wormley West End Circular Walk is a short self-guided trail which takes in interesting historical features of the area. A hard copy of the walk is available from Lowewood Museum. Children’s Pet Show

Creepy crawlies and all two, three and four-legged fluffy friends are invited to take part in the annual children’s pet show. Last year, dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters were joined by snakes, giant snails, a hare and a bearded dragon as all pets are welcome.

Evidence from the remains of Roman buildings excavated at Cheshunt Park Farm in the 1950s and 60s, and numerous widespread finds of Roman pottery, coins and building materials from within the designated area suggest that the remains of a substantial Roman settlement lie along Ermine Street, which runs through the area.
