Hoddesdon Town Centre Strategy consultation
The Council is producing a draft Town Centre Strategy for Hoddesdon to build on the strengths of the town and set out a vision for the future
The Council believes that there is an urgent need to bring more people into Hoddesdon High Street. One way in which the Council proposes to do this is by opening up the High Street to cars and taxis. The Council wants to use this as a centre-piece of a wider strategy to improve Hoddesdon town centre and the Council is asking residents for their ideas on what else the Strategy should contain as well as their thoughts on opening up the High Street.
More information on the what the strategy aims to do, the proposed vision for Hoddesdon Town Centre and what is being proposed as part of the opening up of the High Street is all contained in a summary leaflet which is available on the Council’s website, from the Council’s one stop shops and at the Council Offices.
The consultation ends on Friday 8 May and responses on the proposals can be emailed to planningpolicy@broxbourne.gov.uk or sent to the planning policy section at The Borough Offices, Bishops’ College, Churchgate, Cheshunt, EN8 9XQ.
