My mother and her sister at New Farm, Ware Road, Hoddesdon
This picture of my mother, Dorothy Reed (left) and her sister Eileen, was taken in 1910/11. They were on holiday in Dorset and brought back this sheep as a pet, which they kept on my grandparents farm.
My grandparents Esther Margret and George Lewis Reed, lived at New Farm in Ware Road, Hoddesdon, where my mum and her sister worked. My mother married Griffiths Giddings, the eldest son of Charles Giddings, a well known sculptor.
Picture location: New Farm, Ware Road, Hoddesdon, Herts
